Following the passing in 2021 of Deal Bowls Club Member Barry Gasson, a donation was received from his mother to have something in his memory.

Instead of a Commemorative bench, the concept of a Memorial Garden was agreed by the Club with special reference to Barry and to use the garden to remember other past members with memorial plagues.
